In the animated Disney film, "Rapunzel" there is a song named "I had a Dream".  This song could be used to explain the past decade of my life.  Although, my dream continues to change every couple years.  This is because I can't seem to pinpoint that ONE dream.

TAKE-AWAY

The major take-aways I learned from writing newsletters is the importance of keeping the information easily viewable.  Infographics are set up similar to a newsletter.  Usage of photos and keeping information easy to read and find.  Newsletters should flow and have a uniform feel depending upon what company you are writing about.

Favorite Project

My favorite project this semester in my Communications 310 class has been the creation of my website.  Initially when I found out I had to create a website I was extremely overwhelmed. In today's digital age, a website can be a game-changer for one's career.  It took time and energy to personalize how I wanted my website to look and what information would be included.

EXPIRED

Have you ever had one of those days where everything seems to be going wrong? You will NEVER guess what happened to me today.  I had the opportunity to visit with a nice police officer who informed me that I had expired plates on my car.  It was a valuable lesson that taught me about responsibility and the importance of staying on top of mundane tasks.

It's HAPPENING!!!

THEY ARE ENGAGED!!! The engagement happened on Saturday, February 17th in San Diego at sunset.  Anthony wanted to customize the ring to make it unique for Myalyn.  The wedding seems to have been planned for a couple of months, because that is how my daughter operates.  She knows what she wants, plans, and executes her life to the way she foresees the outcome.

THE CALL ARRIVED

It was a Tuesday morning when I received a text from my older son, Benjamin.  He has been wanting to serve a mission for our church for awhile now and submitted his paperwork a couple weeks ago.  Of course my husband and I were out of town when he received his call and wanted to know if he would like to open it over FaceTime.  He quickly declined and told us that he wanted to wait until SUNDAY when we returned home and wanted to invite friends from our church over to join in his excitement.

Nearer to God

Joseph Smith said, “When persons manifest the least kindness and love to me, O what power it has over my mind. … The nearer we get to our Heavenly Father, the more are we disposed to look with compassion on perishing souls—[we feel that we want] to take them upon our shoulders and cast their sins behind our back… if you would have God have mercy on you, have mercy on one another.”
